Black women, what would you do if you lived back then and were in this situation?

Daisy Bates(Civil rights activist) Mother was killed and raped by three white men because she refused there sexual advances and her mother known one of the white men . let's say you meet a white men while your over on the the white side of town and he flirts with you and tell he hopes to see you again around town and then you meet a black man and you fall in love, get married and have a baby, months later your white sweetheart wants to continued the relationship if you refused you might get killed what would you do? Heres how he killed her he lured away her from home by sending his white male friend to tell her husband 's been injured while working at the sawmill. she fell for his murderous trap and her body was found the next in the town's pond which separates white huttig(name of the town) from black huttig. I just want honest and serious answers from modern black women telling me what would you do if you were a black woman in the 1920's in a small segregated town and forced to comply to a white man's wishes.Black women, what would you do if you lived back then and were in this situation?
WAIT, AT DAT TIME I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN HAVING RELATIONS WIT WHITE MEN N DA FIRST PLACE! But wat culd she have done? I wulda tried to fight back but ma as$ wulda still came up missing! THERE WASN'T TOO MUCH OUR PEOPLE CULDA DONE BACK THEN!Black women, what would you do if you lived back then and were in this situation?
My first inclination would be to shoot him, however, I know how difficult that would be to do and get away with, so, if I didnt have the means to move to a more progressive northern city, I'd have to arrange for some type of fatal accident for him or feed him some poison in his after sex glass of iced tea.....we used to do that ya know LOL...

You know 'not all' white men sit around all day thinking of new ways to lure black women into secluded areas to rape and murder them.





I am pretty sure that some black men may have actually been guilty of similar behavior in the past and present. It's not about black or white, it's human nature. When one race is in a position of power over another it always results in them abusing that power in all sorts of disgusting ways.





I'm Australian, but it never ceases to amaze me how hateful and prejudice black people seem to be in the US. It's like if your black and your unsuccessful in life then the automatic attitude seems to be it's because of something the 'white man' did.





Intelligent black people free from resentment take responsibility for themselves, they have happier lives and make friends easily because their not blinded by hatred. (Same applies to many white people as well) You need to stop digging up all this negativity from the past. This happened a long time ago and the world has changed since then. Leave the past where it belongs.
idk, but times were CRAZY then. My grandma used to baby sit on the white side of town for a couple in Arkansas in the 1950s as a teenager. One day the white guy didn't go to work, but his wife left early as usual to run errands and I don't know what happened in the story because she skipped over a part and said she ended up sitting on their porch the rest of the day until her dad picked her up.





After that her dad had her sit in his car until the man left for work everyday but she KEPT working for them! I guess they needed the money, but idk...





She told me that white guys could do whatever they wanted to black women in those days and that was normal... strange because it wasnt that long ago! I read somewhere that the FIRST white guy to ever get convicted of raping a bw in the South was 44 years ago in 1965! Out of ALL the stuff you read abt in history its weird that the first guy was that recent...
